Hourly Rate - $50 per Hour

I keep my pricing simple and transparent. My hourly rate is $50 per hour, which covers all types of IT support and troubleshooting. Whether I’m helping you remove a virus, set up a new computer, or optimise your Wi-Fi, the rate stays the same — no hidden extras.


Compared to many IT service providers, this is a highly competitive rate designed to keep professional support affordable for individuals, families, and small businesses. I believe everyone should have access to reliable tech help without breaking the bank.

30-Minute Billing Increments

Not every job takes a full hour, and I don’t think you should be charged as if it does. That’s why I bill in 30-minute increments. If your problem only takes half an hour to fix, you’ll only pay for that time — not a full hour.


This system makes costs fairer and gives you better value. It’s especially helpful for quick tasks like setting up a printer, fixing an email issue, or giving you a quick tech lesson. You’ll always know where you stand, and I’ll keep you updated if more time is needed.

Minimum Call-Out Fee – $25

To keep things fair and transparent, all call-outs have a minimum charge of $25. This covers the cost of travel and setup, even if the job ends up being very quick.


If your job requires more time, the standard hourly rate of $50 per hour, billed in 30-minute increments, applies as normal. The call-out fee is simply the minimum starting point, so you’ll always know upfront that the cost of having me come to you will be at least $25.


Examples:


  • Scenario 1: I come to you and the issue takes 5 minutes to fix → Charge: $25
     
  • Scenario 2: I come to you and the issue takes 40 minutes to fix → Charge: $50 (billed for 1 hour)
     
  • Scenario 3: I come to you and the issue takes 70 minutes to fix → Charge: $75 (billed for 1.5 hours)
     

Time and Pricing

  • 1–30 minutes$25 (minimum call-out fee)
  • 31–60 minutes $50
  • 61–90 minutes $75
  • 91–120 minutes $100
  • Each additional 30 minutes + $25 

Free Phone Consultation

Before booking a call-out, you’re entitled to a free phone consultation. This is your chance to explain the issue, ask questions, and get an idea of what the solution might involve — all at no cost.


The phone consultation helps make sure:


  • Your problem is clearly understood before I come out.
     
  • You know what to expect in terms of time and cost.
     
  • Simple issues that can be resolved over the phone are solved straight away, saving you money.
     

There’s no obligation — if you decide not to proceed after the consultation, that’s completely fine.

No Fix, No Fee

If I can’t fix your issue, you won’t pay anything — not even the call-out fee. My goal is to provide honest, reliable service where you only pay when the job gets done.


This way, you can book with complete confidence knowing there’s no risk of being charged for a visit that doesn’t lead to a solution.
